PPN World aggregates press releases that issuers have published publicly to standard wire services (PR Newswire, Business Wire, GlobeNewswire, and 50+ other national sources). This page lays out our redistribution framework and takedown procedure.
1. What we index
For each release: title, summarized description (excerpt), canonical URL, source wire, publication date, language, geographic dateline. We do not store the full body — users click through to the original page to read it.
2. Legal basis
Indexed content is publicly distributed by issuers with the explicit goal of media pickup. Our use falls under journalistic aggregation grounded in fair dealing (Canada), fair use (United States), and the quotation exception per Directive 2019/790 in the EU — always with systematic source attribution.
3. Attribution
Every Fil entry shows the issuing wire's name, the date, the dateline country, and a direct link to the original press release page. Content remains the intellectual property of its issuer.
4. Takedown procedure
If you are the issuer of a release and want its reference removed from PPN World, email info@ppnsource.com with: the link to the release in question, your role (issuer's PR / legal team), and the reason for the request. We process valid requests within 5 business days.
Requests on behalf of third parties (law firms representing an issuer, agencies) must include proof of authority.
