Every contact record links to the releases they appeared on, with full text, AI summary, and entity dossier links.

Frequently asked
Where do the journalist contacts come from?+
Every press release ends with a press contact block — a journalist name (or the PR contact who wrote the release), an email, a phone number, and the company they represent. PPN World extracts these blocks from every release we ingest, deduplicates them across releases, and indexes them as a searchable directory.
How many contacts are in the database?+
The database grows daily as new releases come in. Coverage skews heavily toward beats that get a lot of wire activity — finance, pharma, energy, tech, government. Niche beats see lighter coverage proportional to wire volume.
Can I export contacts?+
Yes, with limits per plan. Higher tiers add larger export ceilings and API access. We deliberately rate-limit to discourage list-broker scraping; legitimate use within your own newsroom or PR team is unconstrained.
Are the contacts GDPR-compliant?+
All contact data is sourced from publicly published press releases, where the press contact is explicitly made public by the issuing organization for journalist outreach purposes. This is the legitimate-interest basis under GDPR. We provide takedown procedures for any contact who requests removal.
How does this compare to Muck Rack's database?+
Muck Rack indexes journalist bylines across many publications, giving you a comprehensive view of what each reporter has written. We index press contacts (often the PR side rather than the reporter side) from wire releases, which is a different cut of the data. They're complementary for serious PR teams; many use both.
Is this included in the base plan?+
Yes — search access to the contact database is included on every paid plan. Bulk export and API access are gated by tier.
