Quarterly financial statistics for enterprises, second quarter 2026

Operating profit reported by Canadian corporations rose to $228.2 billion in the second quarter, an increase of $20.1 billion (+9.7%) from the first quarter. The increase was mainly attributable to non-financial industries. Compared with the same quarter one year earlier, Canadian corporations' operating profit was up by $29.7 billion (+15.0%).
