Vicepresidenta Raquel Peña encabeza última jornada de vistas públicas del Consejo Nacional de la Magistratura rosahenriquez 9 de Octubre 2026 | 16:08 Santo Domingo.- La vicepresidenta de la República, Raquel Peña, encabezó este viernes, en representación del presidente Luis Abinader , la cuarta y última jornada de vistas públicas del Consejo Nacional de la Magistratura (CNM) , con la que concluye la fase de entrevistas a los aspirantes a ocupar seis vacantes en la Suprema Corte de Justicia (SCJ) . El proceso de evaluación servirá de base para la posterior selección de los nuevos integrantes del máximo tribunal del país, así como de su próximo presidente . Durante esta última jornada fueron convocados 22 postulantes , de los cuales 20 participaron en las entrevistas, luego de que Rodolfo Valentín Santos y Emerson Franklin Soriano Contreras declinaran participar. Las entrevistas se realizaron en el Salón Las Cariátides del Palacio Nacional, como parte del calendario de cuatro jornadas establecido para evaluar a los 88 profesionales preseleccionados.
