Minister Thembi Simelane hands over title deeds in Thabazimbi, 27 Oct Zekhethelo Mon, 10/26/2026 - 15:57 26 Oct 2026 Human Settlements Minister, Thembi Simelane, will on Tuesday, 27 October 2026, hand over more than 300 title deeds to the rightful beneficiaries in Regoregile Ext 8, Thabazimbi Local Municipality, Waterberg District Municipality in Limpopo. The hand over of title deeds is in line with the Department’s Title Deeds Restoration Programme aimed at the registration of more than 80,000 title deeds across the country by 2030. A title deed allows families to legally pass property down to future generations, creating a foundation for generational wealth. Minister Simelane will be joined by the Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Human Settlements, Mr. AM Seabi (MP), MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs, Mr. P Shayi, Executive Mayor of Waterberg DM, Cllr. MJ Maeko, Mayor of Thabazimbi Local Municipality, Cllr. A Tshukudu. Details are as follows: Date: Tuesday, 27 October 2026 1.
