The briefing will provide an update on the provincial preparations and coordination measures aimed at ensuring smooth and successful local government elections across the North West Province. MEC Molapisi will also outline the department’s post-election transition plan, including arrangements for the constitution of newly elected municipal councils and the induction of councillors to ensure continuity of governance, institutional stability and effective service delivery.
