Foreign Minister Valtonen to visit Warsaw
At the meeting, the foreign ministers will discuss the Ukraine peace process, support for Ukraine and the response to Russia’s hybrid activities. “We will discuss the Ukraine peace process with our close allies and partners. At the same time, we must maintain our strong support for Ukraine, especially as winter approaches, and increase pressure on Russia. The Baltic Sea countries that are meeting in Warsaw play an important role in this,” says Minister for Foreign Affairs Valtonen. The CBSS, established in 1992, is an intergovernmental forum for cooperation among the countries in the Baltic Sea region. Its members are Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Sweden and the European Union.
