110th Aviation Brigade Conducts 9th Annual Cancer Awareness Motorcycle Mentorship Ride

The 110th Aviation Brigade hosted the 9th Annual Cancer Awareness Motorcycle Mentorship Ride on Fort Rucker Oct. 16 after Hurricane Isaias delayed the event by one week. The 26-mile ride brought together Soldiers, civilians, contractors, family members, cancer survivors, and supporters to recognize those affected by all forms of cancer. Riders made stops across the installation to present survivors and families with certificates, flowers, bracelets, and pink bandanas, while also providing opportunities for community members to sign a cancer-awareness flag. Led by Sam Baker, the event combined cancer awareness and remembrance with motorcycle safety training and rider mentorship.
