Campaña de sensibilización sobre el riesgo de las minas antipersonal y artefactos explosivos sin estallar en Amazonas

Nota Informativa 1170 - 26 Con el objetivo de sensibilizar sobre la presencia de áreas contaminadas con minas antipersonal en el Alto y Bajo Cenepa y los riesgos que estos artefactos representan para las comunidades, la Cancillería, a través del Centro Peruano de Acción Contra Las Minas Antipersonal (CONTRAMINAS), con el apoyo de la Dirección Desconcentrada de Amazonas, el Gobierno Regional de Amazonas y la cooperación de Ayuda Popular Noruega, se llevó a cabo, el 16 de octubre la “Campaña de sensibilización sobre el riesgo de las minas antipersonal y artefactos explosivos sin estallar”. El evento, realizado en la sede del Gobierno Regional de Amazonas, contó con la participación de autoridades regionales y locales, así como representantes de instituciones vinculadas a la protección y el bienestar de la población. El programa contempló exposiciones de CONTRAMINAS, la Dirección General de Desminado Humanitario y Ayuda Popular Noruega sobre los avances nacionales en desminado humanitario, la asistencia a las víctimas de minas antipersonal y la cooperación internacional. Asimismo, incluyó intervenciones del Servicio Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas por el Estado y de autoridades
