Boil Water Advisory issued for 100 Calgary homes in Eagle Ridge and Heritage Park

Alberta Health Services (AHS) has ordered The City of Calgary to issue a Boil Water Advisory for approximately 100 homes located in the community of Eagle Ridge and Heritage Park, effective immediately. On Friday, October 16, City crews began repairs on a water main that supports the community of Eagle Ridge and Heritage Park. During the repairs, they experienced an unanticipated depressurization of the pipe and cannot guarantee the water quality. As a precaution, Alberta Health Services is ordering a Boil Water Advisory. This issue is not related to the Bearspaw South Feeder Main. To complete repairs all southbound lanes on 14 th Street S.W. between 75 Avenue S.W. and Heritage Drive. S.W. will be closed until further notice. City crews will be working extended hours over the weekend to complete the repair and will restore a southbound lane as soon as possible.
