Governor Kehoe Announces Seven Gubernatorial Appointments Gabrielle.Picard Fri, 09/25/2026 - 15:02 September 25, 2026 Jefferson City Today, Governor Mike Kehoe announced seven gubernatorial appointments to various boards and commissions. Joseph Blanner , of Eureka, was appointed to the Regional Convention and Visitors Commission . Mr. Blanner is an attorney with McCarthy, Leonard & Kaemmerer, LC. He is an active member of the FOCUS St. Louis Board, the St. Louis Sports Commission, and serves as vice-chairman of the University of Missouri–St. Louis Chancellor’s Council. He also previously served as chairman of the St. Louis Regional Convention and Sports Complex Authority. Blanner holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, as well as a master’s degree in public administration and a Juris Doctor from St. Louis University. Beth Knes , of Weldon Spring, was reappointed to the Public School Retirement System of Missouri . Ms. Knes worked in the Parkway School District, serving as an administrator for McKelvey Elementary School before retiring from public education in 2014.
