保華建築有限公司因違反《工廠及工業經營條例》及《建築地盤（安全）規例》的規定，被勞工處檢控，今日（十月二十九日）在西九龍裁判法院被判罰款十四萬元。 案情涉及一宗於二○二三年一月三十一日在港珠澳大橋香港口岸人工島一個建築地盤發生的致命意外。當一名工人站在金屬模板上的一個金屬平台向天秤操作員發出進行吊運工作信號時，平台突然倒塌，工人隨倒塌的平台墮下至地面，嚴重受傷。他於兩日後離世。
