16 private properties receive Gold Awards for best landscape design and maintenance (with photos)

The prize presentation ceremony for the Best Landscape Award for Private Property Development 2026 (the Award), organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), was held today (October 7). Sixteen private properties were presented with Gold Awards in recognition of their outstanding landscape design and quality horticultural maintenance. Among them, Wonderland Villas in the Large-scale Domestic Property category was the winner of the new Supreme Gold Award this year. For the new category of Subsidised Sale Housing introduced this year, Fung Tak Estate was the Gold Award winner. The biennial Award is one of the LCSD's major activities to promote greening, with 220 nominations received this year. Addressing the ceremony, the Director of Leisure and Cultural Services, Ms Manda Chan, expressed appreciation to the winning projects for tailoring the designs to the practical contexts, which skilfully combined the plant forms and colours with the natural terrain, connecting buildings to living spaces naturally while enhancing the surrounding landscape.
