Και πρόσθεσε: «Το Υπουργείο Ανάπτυξης κινείται -όσον αφορά σε θέματα αρμοδιότητάς του- για παράδειγμα στα ζητήματα της μείωσης των τιμών σε είδη πρώτης ανάγκης, στις συμφωνίες με τη βιομηχανία τροφίμων και τα σούπερ μάρκετ και στην εντατικοποίηση των ελέγχων στην αγορά από την Ανεξάρτητη Αρχή Προστασίας του Καταναλωτή και την επιβολή προστίμων», τόνισε ο κ. Καλαφάτης. Αναφερόμενος σε θέματα έρευνας και καινοτομίας ο Υφυπουργός Ανάπτυξης τόνισε ότι: «Στρατηγική μας προτεραιότητα είναι η διαμόρφωση ενός νέου παραγωγικού μοντέλου βασισμέν
