En octubre se registraron 76.853 contratos en Euskadi, de los que 21.502 fueron indefinidos, un 28 %, la proporción más elevada registrada en lo que va de año El número de personas desempleadas crece en 2.316 en octubre, lo que supone un incremento mensual del 2,12 % Euskadi alcanzó en octubre el mayor nivel de afiliación a la Seguridad Social de toda su historia, con 1.056.141 cotizantes. El incremento de la afiliación en 14.524 personas respecto a septiembre, lo que representa un incremento mensual del 1,39 %, confirma la solidez del mercado laboral vasco y la capacidad de la economía para seguir generando empleo, incluso en un contexto económico marcado por la incertidumbre. Este récord histórico de afiliación refleja una realidad incontestable: hoy trabajan en Euskadi más personas que nunca. Este avance de la afiliación coincide con un aumento del paro registrado. En octubre, 111.553 personas figuraban inscritas como desempleadas en las oficinas de Lanbide, 2.316 más que en septiembre, lo que supone un incremento mensual del 2,12 %.
