ProDominicana impulsa el regreso de Grupo Accor al país con una apuesta de más de 5,000 habitaciones victorreyes 20 de Octubre 2026 | 08:45 Santo Domingo-. El Centro de Exportación e Inversión de la República Dominicana (ProDominicana) destacó que el regreso del grupo hotelero francés Accor al mercado dominicano es resultado de las gestiones de promoción, seguimiento y acompañamiento institucional desarrolladas desde enero de 2023. La compañía, líder global en hospitalidad , reafirma su interés estratégico en el país con una visión de largo plazo orientada a ampliar su presencia en el Caribe y desarrollar nuevas marcas hoteleras en destinos urbanos y turísticos de alto crecimiento. El director de Inversión, Zanony Severino, indicó que los acercamientos se realizaron en enero de 2023 , durante el Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) , en Los Ángeles, donde ProDominicana y Accor exploraron el retorno del grupo al país. Posteriormente, se cursó una invitación presidencial a su principal ejecutivo. En enero de 2024 , Accor formalizó su interés en una comunicación a la Presidencia, en la que identificó al país como prioridad estratégica y planteó oportunidades hoteleras en Pedernal
