Presidente Luis Abinader emite Decreto 719-26 que regula la zafra azucarera 2026-2027 y garantiza el abastecimiento nacional e internacional yamellrossi 19 de Octubre 2026 | 21:56 Santo Domingo.- El presidente Luis Abinader promulgó este lunes el Decreto núm. 719-26 , mediante el cual se establecen las normas que regirán la zafra azucarera correspondiente al período 2026-2027 , con miras a fortalecer la economía nacional , satisfacer las necesidades del mercado local y cumplir con los compromisos de exportación ejerciendo un estricto control estatal. El decreto establece que de la producción total alcanzada y de los excedentes del año anterior se destinarán las cantidades necesarias p ara satisfacer la demanda del consumo nacional , asegurando además el cumplimiento de los compromisos de exportación en los mercados preferenciales , como el de los Estados Unidos de América y otros destinos. En caso de ser necesaria la importación de azúcar , el Instituto Azucarero Dominicano (Inazucar) deberá emitir las licencias requeridas.
