Presidente del Indotel destaca el uso de la IA como herramienta para una sociedad más accesible e inclusiva victorreyes 14 de Octubre 2026 | 09:22 Santo Domingo.– El presidente del Consejo Directivo del Instituto Dominicano de las Telecomunicaciones (Indotel), Guido Gómez Mazara, resaltó que el uso de la inteligencia artificial (IA), los datos y las tecnologías digitales como herramientas para impulsar ciudades inteligentes más accesibles e inclusivas, son indispensables para contribuir a reducir las desigualdades sociales y mejorar las condiciones de vida de las personas con discapacidad. Asimismo, Gómez Mazara señaló, durante su participación en el VI Congreso de Accesibilidad Urbana, organizado por la Fundación Francina, que lidera Francina Hungría , y celebrado en el auditorio de la Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), la inclusión como un componente esencial en el diseño y la ejecución de las políticas públicas , y sostuvo que la reducción de la brecha digital representa también una vía para disminuir la inequidad social.
