MOPC construye muros de gaviones y puentes en 21 provincias para fortalecer la resiliencia climática victorreyes 6 de Octubre 2026 | 16:09 Santo Domingo.- Decenas de brigadas distribuidas en todo el país avanzan en un amplio programa de construcción de muros de gaviones, como parte de una estrategia de intervención progresiva en puntos identificados como vulnerables . El proceso está orientado a mantener seguras y conectadas a las comunidades ante posibles efectos de las lluvias y otros fenómenos atmosféricos. Al momento, 21 provincias del país han sido beneficiadas con 27 muros de gaviones finalizados , mientras 14 se encuentran en proceso de construcción y 63 están programados. El Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones informó que las obras están distribuidas en Azua, Bahoruco, Barahona, Dajabón, Duarte, Espaillat, La Altagracia, La Vega, María Trinidad Sánchez, Peravia, Puerto Plata, Hermanas Mirabal, San Cristóbal, San Juan, Santiago, Santiago Rodríguez, Valverde, Monseñor Nouel, Monte Plata, San José de Ocoa y Santo Domingo. La intervención de puntos críticos había sido una de las ejecutorias más esperadas en los municipios , debido a la vulnerabilidad que experimentan
