Ministerio de Agricultura destinará RD 30 millones para facilitar la siembra de habichuelas en el valle de San Juan yamellrossi 4 de Noviembre 2026 | 08:58 Santo Domingo.- El Ministerio de Agricultura aportará RD 30 millones para subsidiar la compra de semillas de habichuela destinadas a la siembra en el valle de San Juan , donde se prevé cultivar más de 120,000 tareas a partir del próximo martes. El viceministro de Producción, Juan Antonio Gómez Williams , hizo el anuncio al término de la firma del acuerdo de cooperación interinstitucional , celebrada en la sede del Banco Agrícola. Gómez actuó en representación del ministro de Agricultura, Francisco Oliverio Espaillat , quien cumple una agenda oficial de trabajo en Corea del Sur junto a varios funcionarios de la institución. El acuerdo fue suscrito por Fernando Durán, administrador general del Banco Agrícola, Juan Gómez , en representación del Ministerio de Agricultura, y Agustín Báez , presidente de la Asociación de Productores Agrícolas de San Juan de la Maguana. Mediante el convenio se liberarán 10,000 quintales de semilla de habichuela pignorada . Del precio de referencia de RD 6,650 por quintal, el Ministerio aportará RD 3,00
