CDH aprova Política Nacional de Enfrentamento à Violência contra a Mulher

A Comissão de Direitos Humanos (CDH) aprovou nesta quarta-feira (4) projeto que institui a Política Nacional de Enfrentamento à Violência contra a Mulher. A iniciativa busca integrar e ampliar os serviços públicos de atendimento e proteção às mulheres em situação de violência, além de fortalecer ações de prevenção e combate aos agressores. De autoria do senador Paulo Paim (PT-RS), a proposta recebeu parecer favorável da senadora Damares Alves (Republicanos-DF), presidente do colegiado, com cinco emendas, e segue para decisão terminativa da Comissão de Segurança Pública (CSP). Segundo a relatora, a iniciativa transforma em lei uma política que atualmente se baseia principalmente em normas administrativas e orientações técnicas. A mudança busca garantir a continuidade das ações, mesmo com a alternância de governos.
