The park will offer active and passive recreational opportunities while preserving the natural beauty of the area, which has been enhanced with the planting of 10,300 saplings in the past year. "The 56-acre K-Bar Ranch Park site will be a generational gem in New Tampa. All of New Tampa is excited for this." City Councilman Luis Viera said. "To make the park accessible to everyone, we need everyone to participate in its planning, so we’re inviting everyone to attend the K-Bar Park Project Launch Meeting on October 15." There is enough room in the space to incorporate multipurpose athletic fields, trails, picnic facilities, and play areas. A major step forward happens Thursday, October 15 from 6:30
