New Marine Corps Base Hawaii Barracks Pass Halfway Mark
MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII — Construction of two new bachelor enlisted quarters at Kaneohe Bay has passed the halfway mark, with structural work topped out and crews advancing work on building systems and interiors. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Hawaii’s $174.6 million project was approximately 53% complete as of Oct. 1, 2026. The two connected, five-story buildings will provide 190 rooms accommodating up to 380 military personnel, replacing quarters that have reached the end of their usable life.
