US Supreme Court opens October Term 2026

The Court convenes for the first Monday in October, beginning the argument calendar that runs to the end of April and issuing its first order list of the term. Opening day frames which blockbuster cases the Court has agreed to hear and sets the docket newsrooms track all year.
