Upcoming road closures

Winnipeg, MB – Two major road closures will begin tomorrow (Thursday, October 15). Abinojii Mikanah and Pembina Highway intersection Southbound Pembina Highway will be reduced to one lane at the overpass starting at 10:00 p.m. to accommodate installation of an overhead sign. Between 10:00 p.m. and 1 a.m., southbound traffic will be closed completely for approximately 10 minutes when the sign is being lifted. Flag persons will be on-site directing traffic during the full closure. Traffic will return to its current configuration by 1 a.m. Memorial Boulevard Northbound Memorial Boulevard will fully close between St. Mary Avenue and Vaughan Street at 9 a.m. to accommodate private construction work. This will extend the existing single-lane closure across all three lanes of travel. We expect the roadway to reopen to two lanes of travel by 3 p.m. on Monday, October 19.
