Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on Pacific Avenue
Winnipeg, MB – At 1:11 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a two-storey duplex in the 300 block of Pacific Avenue. When crews arrived at the scene, they found smoke coming from the building. Firefighters entered the duplex and launched an interior fire attack. They brought the fire under control at 1:54 a.m. All occupants of the building safely evacuated before crews arrived. No injuries were reported. The City’s Emergency Social Services team assisted residents who were displaced by the fire. The fire remains under investigation. Damage estimates are not available.
