Farewell concert at the Opera house – a gift to the audience
Prepare for an exciting encounter between the Royal Swedish Orchestra and the acclaimed contemporary composer Jacob Mühlrad when the orchestra, together with vocal soloists, the Royal Swedish Opera Chorus and conductor Alan Gilbert, invites the audience to a farewell to the Opera House ahead of the renovation and move to Gasometer. The concert consists of both classical favourites and Jacob Mühlrad's music, in original and new arrangements. The Opera House's farewell concert will be given on the Royal Swedish Opera's main stage on November 29, 2026, at 16.00 and at 19.00. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, September 8, at 10.00.
