Wed, 10/14/2026 - 11:55 am Expect heavier than usual traffic in and around Downtown Tampa on Saturday, October 17, as a packed lineup of events and activities, including the Tampa Pig Jig, draws crowds throughout the area. As always: make a plan, build in some extra travel time, and keep an eye out for pedestrians as you enter and exit event areas. This weekend's events include, but aren't limited to: Walk to End Alzheimer's @ Benchmark International Arena / Bayshore Blvd. - 9 A.M. Art Fair Tampa @ Tampa Convention Center - 10 A.M. National Franchise Expo @ Tampa Convention Center - 11 A.M. Tampa Pig Jig @ Julian B. Lane Park - 1 P.M. Lightning Game @ Benchmark International Arena - 4 P.M. Straz Shows @ 6 P.M., 7:30 P.M., 8 P.M. USF Football Game @ Raymond James Stadium - 7 P.M. PRO TIP: Want an easier way to get around?
