Pursuant to Title 5, section 196, the salary for this position has been set by the Office of the Attorney General.) The office of the Attorney General has an opening for an Assistant Attorney General within the Health and Human Services Division in Augusta. This position will represent the DHHS Office of Aging and Disability Services, Adult Protective Services, in guardianship and other matters, and will appear in Probate and other courts. This position will also represent DHHS in District Court hearings with involuntary commitment applications. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must be members of the Maine Bar in good standing, have an eye for legal detail, be interested in complex state and federal litigation, have strong legal advocacy and writing skills, and a demonstrated ability
