The HCU investigates and prosecutes fraud in the administration of the MaineCare Program (the Medicaid program in Maine) and fraud in the activities of providers of medical assistance pursuant to the MaineCare Program. The HCU also seeks to protect residents or patients in health care facilities by investigating and prosecuting allegations of abuse and neglect. This position is located in Augusta .
