Army sergeant pleads guilty to child pornography charges during Hawaii trial

An Army sergeant pleaded guilty to possessing and distributing child pornography during his trial Oct. 7 at the Wheeler Army Airfield courtroom. Sgt. Timari A. Bowman, 26, an information technology specialist assigned to the 500th Military Intelligence Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, was sentenced by the military judge to four years in prison, reduction in rank to E-1, and a dishonorable discharge from the Army.
