MyNavy HR Tests New Approach to Sailor Performance and Talent Management Aboard USS Essex (LHD 2)

For decades, a Sailor’s performance has ultimately been captured in Fitness Reports (FITREPs) for officers and Evaluations (EVALs) for enlisted personnel using NAVFIT98. MyNavy HR is developing a different approach designed to make performance management less about completing paperwork and more focused on developing Sailors and recognizing talent to strengthen warfighting readiness.
