Fort Leonard Wood military policeman pleads guilty to possessing child pornography
A military policeman with more than 10 years of service pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography during his court-martial Oct. 5 at the Fort Leonard Wood courtroom. Staff Sgt. Chandler D. Hummel, 30, assigned to 795th Military Police Battalion, 14th Military Police Brigade, was sentenced by the military judge to two years in prison and a dishonorable discharge from the Army. In June and July 2025, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children received two CyberTips from TikTok and Kik that Hummel used his accounts to download child sexual abuse material.
