Connecting the Care Team

The 23d Medical Group hosted a provider collaboration event at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, Sept. 25, 2026, bringing together wing leadership, 23d MDG providers and nurses, Humana Military representatives, and off-base specialty care providers to strengthen partnerships and improve healthcare coordination for Airmen, families, and beneficiaries. Held under the theme “Embracing Change: The Future of Military Healthcare,” the event provided an opportunity for medical professionals and community healthcare partners to discuss changes within the military healthcare system and identify ways to improve the referral process and continuity of care. Through face-to-face discussions, participants addressed common challenges in coordinating care between military and civilian healthcare systems while sharing information about updated processes and resources.
