DEVCOM commanding general tours Picatinny’s armaments legacy and future
PICATINNY ARSENAL, N.J. – During a visit here on Sept. 3, key Army technology leaders witnessed one example after another of scientific expertise delivering both future weapons and a stream of solutions to today’s lethality, warfighting and manufacturing challenges. The Commanding General of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Brig. Gen. Robert Born, and his senior enlisted advisor, Command Sgt. Maj. Thinh Huynh, visited the DEVCOM Armaments Center to view a showcase of life-cycle engineering and sustainment support for current Army weapons systems, munitions and software.
