CUNY Interns Deliver Capstone Briefing to Fort Hamilton Senior Leaders

Four City University of New York (CUNY) students concluded their six‑week internship at U.S. Army Garrison Fort Hamilton with a capstone briefing Aug. 19, presenting internal control evaluation findings to garrison commander Col. Raul Medrano, Deputy to the Garrison Commander Trevor Loew, and directorate staff. The interns—embedded with Public Works and Family & MWR—conducted audits, developed corrective action plans, and completed professional development training throughout the summer. Program leaders praised the interns’ professionalism, analytical skill, and meaningful contributions to installation management operations.
