Corps of Engineers seeks comments on NorthMet Mining project

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, announced today, the notice of intent to prepare a supplemental environmental impact statement for the development of the NorthMet Mine in St. Louis County, Minnesota. The Corps of Engineers is soliciting public comments on the scope of the draft statement. Comments must be submitted by Nov. 27, 2026.
