The incident involved police officers from the Bakersfield Police Department (BPD). The report is part of the California Department of Justice’s (DOJ) persistent efforts to promote transparency, accountability, and trust in law enforcement practices. The report offers a comprehensive analysis of the incident that details the DOJ’s findings.
