Ms. Smoke possesses a MSc.(Geology) and BSc.(Hon)(Geology), both from the University of Western Ontario, and has led a variety of exploration and drilling programs in Ontario, Arizona, Montana, Utah, and the Dominican Republic in her 14 years of post-graduate experience. Ms. Smoke is a member of the Lac Seul First Nation with family ties to the Alderville First Nation, and is based in Hamilton ON. In addition to her geological technical expertise and field experience, she brings an extensive background in Indigenous governance, environmental policy, risk assessment, consultation, and negotiation.
