Governor Abbott Announces Latest Slate Of Appointments This week, Governor Greg Abbott selected multiple qualified candidates to serve on behalf of Texans. Trinity River Authority Board Of Directors – Governor Abbott appointed Rich Lavinski, Steve Barksdale, Tyler Jackson, and Martin Black to the Trinity River Authority Board of Directors for terms set to expire on March 15, 2027. Additionally, he appointed Bruce Bynum, Charles Sartain, and Whit Wolman and reappointed Lewis McMahan, Jeff Bradley, and Cary “Cole” Camp to the board for terms set to expire on March 15, 2029. The Authority oversees development and conservation of surface water resources of the Trinity River Basin.
