Governor Abbott Appoints Ten To Trinity River Authority Board Of Directors Governor Greg Abbott appointed Rich Lavinski, Steve Barksdale, Tyler Jackson, and Martin Black to the Trinity River Authority Board of Directors for terms set to expire on March 15, 2027. Additionally, he appointed Bruce Bynum, Charles Sartain, and Whit Wolman and reappointed Lewis McMahan, Jeff Bradley, and Cary “Cole” Camp to the board for terms set to expire on March 15, 2029. The Authority oversees development and conservation of surface water resources of the Trinity River Basin. Rich Lavinski of Palestine is managing partner of East 57th Street Partners and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He serves on the advisory board of the WaterStone Foundation and on the board of Cartmell Foundation and is a member of the Private Directors Association. He previously served on advisory boards for the University of North Texas and the Lakeview Foundation, and in volunteer and leadership roles with Bill Glass Ministries, First Methodist Church Palestine, and St. Philip’s Episcopal Church. Lavinski received an Artium Baccalaureus in Economics from the University of Chicago and a Master of Business Administration
