Wholesale trade: Advance indicator, July 2026

Statistics Canada is providing an advance estimate of sales in the wholesale trade sector. The advance results for July indicate that wholesale sales (excluding petroleum, petroleum products, and other hydrocarbons and excluding oilseed and grain) decreased 0.6%. The decline mainly reflects lower sales in the agricultural supplies and mineral, ore and precious metal industry groups within the miscellaneous subsector.
