"Norway remains deeply concerned about the human rights situation in Iran, including the continued repression of human rights defenders. We condemn the continued and increasing use of the death penalty to silence dissent in Iran, especially in connection with the protests that began in December 2025", said Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide.
