La legge regionale n.3 del 30 gennaio 2026 e il successivo decreto dell'assessore al Territorio e all'ambiente, Giusi Savarino (n.12 del 5 febbraio), infatti, autorizzano l'esenzione straordinaria del canone demaniale marittimo alle aziende con una concessione per attività turistico-ricreativa o sportiva, per nautica da diporto, cantieristica navale o ricadenti nelle aree portuali e gravemente danneggiate dagli eventi meteo del gennaio 2026 .
