RBI to conduct 29-day Variable Rate Reverse Repo (VRRR) auction under LAF

On a review of the current and evolving liquidity conditions, it has been decided to conduct a Variable Rate Reverse Repo (VRRR) auction on Thursday, October 08, 2026, as under: Sl. No. Notified Amount (₹ crore) Tenor (day) Window Timing Date of Reversal 1 2,00,000 29 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM November 06, 2026 (Friday) 2. The operational guidelines for the auction will be same as given in Reserve Bank’s Press Release 2019-2020/1947 dated February 13, 2020 . 3. Participants will have an option for premature reversal of the amount lent in the above auction, and the operational guidelines for the same are as given below: Requests for premature reversal can be placed only through the E-Kuber portal during 09:00–17:00 hours on working days in Mumbai. Partial reversal of a bid will be allowed. Once a request for premature reversal is placed in E-Kuber portal, the same has also to be intimated via email to the Financial Markets Operations Department (Ph: 022-2263 0982 / 2263 0008). The settlement of premature reversal will take place at the ‘start of day’ on the next working day following the date of placement of request.
