Presentan en Alemania muestra sobre la cultura musical del Perú

Nota Informativa 1114 - 26 Gracias al Instituto Ibero-Americano (IAI) de Berlín, en colaboración con la Embajada del Perú en Alemania, se inauguró, el 6 de octubre, la exposición la exposición “Lugares y medios de la música: Lima en la primera mitad del siglo XX”, basada en la colección del etnomusicólogo e historiador Gérad Borras y contó con la asistencia de académicos, investigadores, gestores de cultura y público en general. La muestra está compuesta por material original de la época como discos de goma laca, partituras, rollos de partituras para pianolas, cancioneros, folletos, afiches publicitarios, diarios y revistas; así como programas de teatro y cuadernillos con letras de canciones populares. En la ceremonia inaugural, el embajador Augusto Arzubiaga señaló que la exposición permitirá apreciar, de manera directa y didáctica, la variada cultura musical que se desarrolló en Lima durante las primeras décadas del siglo pasado. Agregó que la muestra permitirá al público ser testigo directo de una época a través de su música, lo cual abre las puertas para contemplar y admirar el arte en sí mismo, pero también para comprender y estudiar la cultura popular y la vida social de la c
