Ukraine and France to expand cooperation on establishing a School of Healthcare Management

Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko met with Isabelle Richard, Director of the French School of Public Health (EHESP). The meeting focused on developing a modern system for the training and professional development of healthcare facility managers in Ukraine, drawing on French expertise.The meeting was also attended by Deputy Ministers of Health of Ukraine Yevhenii Honchar and Vasyl Strilka, Vincent Vial, Head of the Expertise France Health Programme in Ukraine, Mathieu Radoubé, Deputy Head of Health Program, and Frédéric Boiron, Director General of Lille University Hospital.The initiative envisages the establishment of a School of Healthcare Management aimed at strengthening the managerial and administrative competencies of Ukrainian hospital leaders. It is being developed at the request of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine with the support of Expertise France. The French School of Public Health (EHESP) is also contributing to the development of the programme.During the meeting, the parties discussed the main areas of the future training programme.
