Media Invited to First-ever IAEA International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Nuclear Energy

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will host the first-ever International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Nuclear Energy , 3 to 4 December, at the IAEA in the M Building of the Vienna International Centre (VIC). Stakeholders from the nuclear industry, AI sector, as well as representatives from government, regulatory bodies, academia, non-governmental organizations and energy companies will convene to assess and strengthen synergies between nuclear power and AI, from powering data centres to enhancing and accelerating nuclear innovation. IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi will open the Symposium at 10:00 CET on 3 December, alongside Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency.
