Auctions of vehicle registration marks to be held from November to December 2026

The Transport Department (TD) today (October 22) announced that four auctions of vehicle registration marks (VRMs) will be held from November to December 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai. The details have been uploaded to the TD's website . Personalised VRMs, Special VRMs, and VRMs starting with "HK" or "XX" are offered for physical auctions. Applicants should attend the auction and take note of the opening price as announced by the auctioneer before participating in the bidding. Interested bidders should refer to the following websites: The details about VRM auctions ; The Guidance Notes - Auction of TVRMs ; and The Guidance Notes - Auction of PVRMs . ​The results of the auction of VRMs will be uploaded to the TD's website on the first working day after the auction.
