Communiqué de presse - Baromètre CITEPA : Les émissions de gaz à effet de serre poursuivent leur baisse avec -4,1 % au premier semestre 2026

Le Citepa, organisme chargé de réaliser l’inventaire national des émissions de gaz à effet de serre, a publié son baromètre des émissions pour le premier semestre 2026. Selon cette estimation provisoire, les émissions nationales de gaz à effet de serre, hors secteur de l’utilisation des terres, du changement d’affectation des terres et de la foresterie (UTCATF), ont diminué de -4,1 % au premier semestre 2026 par rapport à la même période en 2025, pour atteindre 179,7 millions de tonnes en équivalent CO2 (Mt CO₂e). Pour l’ensemble de l’année, le Citepa prévoit une baisse des émissions hors UTCATF de -2,8 %.
